The Micah Hanks Program

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary on the night of November 2, 1971, as 16-year-old Ronald Johnson was tending the sheep behind his family's farm near Delphos, Kansas. That would all change within a matter of minutes, after a sudden rumbling noise caught his attention, prompting the young farmer to step outside—leading him to a face-to-face encounter with the unexplained. 
This week, we examine the famous Delphos, Kansas UFO incident, looking at details that include photos of a glowing ring on the ground where the object had allegedly hovered, and how subsequent analysis of soil samples helped make the Delphos case one of the more unusual purported physical-trace UFO incidents of the era.

Since the dawn of the atomic age, UFO reports have frequently involved sightings near nuclear weapons facilities, missile installations, laboratories, power facilities, and other nuclear-related infrastructure, both in the United States and abroad. Some incidents have included more controversial allegations of apparent interference with nuclear weapons or associated systems, although the evidence supporting such claims varies considerably.
This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we examine this historical pattern, and look at famous sightings near nuclear sites, and what they reveal about whether UAPs deliberately target these facilities, as well as lingering questions about the possible motives of their presumed operators.

More than six decades after Betty and Barney Hill reported a mysterious encounter while driving through New Hampshire's White Mountains, their story remains one of the most influential—and controversial—cases in UFO history. But what can the surviving evidence, from rare historical documents to archival recordings and surviving U.S. Air Force Project Blue Book records, actually tell us about what happened to the couple on that night back in 1961?
This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we revisit the famous case with a review of information documented immediately after the incident, and how it compares with later information that surfaced through dreams, hypnosis, and subsequent investigations. Finally, we also examine the radar reports recorded around the time of the encounter by the U.S. Air Force's Project Blue Book, and skeptical explanations that have emerged over the decades—all in an effort to reevaluate one of history's most complex and culturally significant UFO encounters.

For decades, sightings of unusual, spherical objects have been reported in our skies. Often described as metallic silver, translucent, or illuminated in fiery orange or red, flying objects matching this description were even reported by Allied pilots over Europe during WWII as a possible new advanced weapon developed by Nazi Germany. It began on a summer night in 2011, when someone in the vehicle noticed three odd lights overhead. Curious, one of the occupants stepped out of the vehicle and looked up. Now, according to a witness interview released years later by the U.S. Department of War, what appeared above them was not simply three lights, but a massive, dark, triangular object moving silently across the night sky. This case, and several others involving mysterious triangle UAPs in our skies, are among those included in the Pentagon's fifth tranche of UAP files released under its PURSUE initiative. 
This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we look at the latest U.S. government UAP cases revealed with the recent publication of PURSUE Release 05, and how one very unusual and increasingly prominent class of unidentified flying objects—massive black triangle UAP—have become a central focus for investigations by the Pentagon's AARO and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
