The Micah Hanks Program

On November 14, 2004, the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group Eleven steamed through the clear waters roughly eighty nautical miles west of San Diego beneath cloudless California skies. Unbeknownst to many on board, for nearly a week, operators deep inside the strike group's Combat Information Center aboard the USS Princeton had been watching something they could not explain. Initially dismissed as equipment anomalies, the contacts refused to disappear, returning repeatedly and exhibiting flight characteristics that seasoned radar operators struggled to reconcile with anything they had encountered before.
This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we take a deep dive into the investigations by the Defense Intelligence Agency's Advanced Aerospace Weapons Systems Application Program (AAWSAP) and the evaluation of the historic Nimitz incident by its contractor group, Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies. What does this candid look at the official side of investigations into the landmark case reveal, and what does it suggest about a recently proposed "explanation" for the historic UAP sighting?

The Pentagon has released its fourth tranche of videos and documents related to UAP under its Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) initiative, with the latest batch of materials now available for viewing at the U.S. Department of War's website. However, the latest revelations only add to a growing number of indistinct videos and other materials that raise more questions than they provide answers to.
This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we delve into what the latest PURSUE Release 04 contains and some of the questions that arise from viewing the new UAP materials. Is this really "Disclosure" that we're seeing, or are the recent UAP materials released by the Pentagon just the latest distraction in a long history of similar efforts by the U.S. government?

For many decades, UFO researchers have obtained unusual samples alleged to be UAP materials recovered from crash events or other instances where physical traces of these anomalous aerial objects were present. In nearly every case where scientific analysis was undertaken, these unusual samples also revealed signatures that suggest Earthly origins. But should this necessarily mean they aren't worthy of further interest by UAP researchers? 
This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we examine a "cautionary tale" of alleged alien wreckage that turned out to have a down-to-Earth explanation, as well as the controversy surrounding materials allegedly recovered from the New Mexico desert in 1947, and what analysis by the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office and Oak Ridge National Lab revealed about them. We also examine why an analysis that reveals an Earthly provenance for some alleged UAP wreckage shouldn't preclude their possible relationship to understanding the broader mystery.
