This week, Prof. Aaron Kyle shares his vision for intentional integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into engineering education. He speaks on overcoming his introverted nature to realize his passion for classroom instruction, and how his upbringing informed his career path across the US, from the midwest to Columbia and now his current position at Duke University. 

Dr. Peymon Ghazi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Malcova, a company endeavoring to redefine breast CT scans to better visualize miccrocalcifications, tiny calcium deposits that provide early traces of cancer. He shares how he turned his back-of-the-napkin idea into a start-up company and the challenges faced along the way. 

Prof. Noo Li Jeon introduces his lab's groundbreaking work in developing organ-on-a-chip microfluidic devices for applications in high throughput drug screening and personalized medicine. He also shares the value of working at the interface between disciplines to discover new and exciting things.

Dean Rich Corsi describes why his Corsi-Rosenthal box, a DIY indoor air purifying phenomenon, will always be open-source.
