Hayley Kiyoko on Turning ‘Girls Like Girls’ Into a Film, Queer Representation, and Her Life’s Work

    19/06/2026 | 52 min
Lesbian Jesus returns! Last year Hayley Kiyoko popped in to discuss her sophomore book, ‘Where There’s Room For Us,’ and she promised she’d return to discuss her debut feature length film ‘Girls Like Girls’ which started its life as a song (back in 2015), became a groundbreaking music video, evolved into a New York Times bestselling novel, and has now arrived on the big screen.

Hayley opens up about why this story has become her life's work, the emotional journey of bringing it to theaters, and how scenes from the film were pulled directly from her own experiences. We also dive into the healing power of representation, fan reactions from fans, and why telling authentic LGBTQ+ stories feels as important as ever.

Hayley also discusses assembling the film's all-female department heads, casting the film’s leads Maya Da Costa as Coley and Myra Malloy as Sonya, working alongside Zach Braff, and creating a soundtrack packed with artists including Young Miko, Tegan and Sara, and Gigi Perez. Plus: AIM screen names, scoliosis, the real-life inspiration behind the story, filming just blocks from her grandmother's house, and the full-circle feeling of hearing “Girls Like Girls" reimagined with a 30-piece orchestra. After a decade of work, this conversation gets emotional in all the right ways.

Jessie Reyez on Healing, Heartbreak, Polyamory, ‘Figures,’ and New Album 'A Little Vengeance'

    17/06/2026 | 55 min
Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, poet, and author Jessie Reyez joins us in the studio for the very first time. Since breaking through with 'Figures' in 2016, the Colombian-Canadian artist has built a career on searing honesty, turning some of her deepest wounds into songs that resonate around the world. Along the way the 25-year-old’s collaborated with everyone from Eminem and 6lack to Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, and LISA, while also writing hits like “One Kiss,” “Promises,” and “Moonlit Floor” — we get into it. Now she’s on the couch for the first time (which is crazy) with her latest fourth album 'A Little Vengeance.’ As she says, quoting Friedrich Nietzsche: “A little vengeance is more human than no vengeance at all.” She’s vulnerable, real, and funny as hell.

Jessie opens up about the heartbreak and anger that fuelled the record, the role accountability plays in moving on, getting sober, and the personal growth that followed a major shift in her life three years ago. She reflects on the relationship that inspired both 'Figures' and songs on this new album, why creating music doesn't always heal the hurt that inspired it, and how success has sometimes strained her relationships with family and loved ones. We also discuss the realities of ambition in the music industry, balancing love and career, her poetry books (and what else she’s got cooking), Bob Marley's philosophy that music can be medicine, and why after years of nonstop work she plans to step away, rest, and finally give herself time to heal.

NMIXX on Love, Conflict, Anderson .Paak, Past Life Hypnosis, and New EP ‘Heavy Serenade’

    16/06/2026 | 37 min
Eight months after their last visit, NMIXX are back on the couch and ready to dive even deeper into the ever-expanding world of Mixxtopia. The JYP Entertainment sextet — Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin — join us to unpack their EP ‘Heavy Serenade,’ explain how it fits into the group's mythology, and discuss why love is never static. Along the way, they break down the harmonies that have become a defining part of the NMIXX sound, the challenges and rewards of working with songwriters from around the world, and why music should always be open to interpretation.

We also get into the ever-evolving meaning of Mixxtopia itself, exploring themes of conflict, imperfection, and empowerment, before finding out how the members navigate disagreements within the group and balance their personal lives with life as global pop stars. Elsewhere, we discuss past-life regression, becoming the first K-pop group to perform at Carnival in Brazil, Sullyoon's pitch skills, what it was like collaborating with Anderson .Paak, and so much more.

Tori Kelly on Motherhood, Faith, Meena, and New Album ‘God Must Really Love Me’

    15/06/2026 | 1 h 22 min
Tori Kelly first joined us back in 2013, long before Grammy Awards, sold-out tours, and billions of streams. Over the years we've had a front-row seat to her evolution from YouTube breakout, ‘American Idol’ contestant and singer-songwriter to one of the most respected vocalists of her generation. Along the way she's earned praise from artists like Billie Eilish, voiced Meena the singing elephant in the blockbuster 'Sing' franchise, and watched both that character and her rendition of “Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing” find new life with younger audiences online years after the film's release.

Now the 33-year-old returns as a new mother — in 2025 she had her son Zayden with her bball player hubby André Murillo — and both motherhood and faith deeply inspired her new, sixth album, 'God Must Really Love Me'. She opens up about raising her son Zayden (who is all over this album both in the lyrics and vocally!), how becoming a parent has transformed her relationship with faith, the highs and lows of a marriage that's now more than a decade strong, and why this album feels like a time capsule of a pivotal season in her life. Tori also shares the stories behind songs like “Tokyo” and “Mine,” (amongst many others) discusses finding peace in a culture obsessed with comparison, reflects on the viral resurgence of her music, talks about voicing a singer named Suzy Day in the video game 'Stranger Than Heaven,' plus so much more.

Bebe Rexha Talks "New Religion," "I'm A Mess" and New Album 'Dirty Blonde'

    12/06/2026 | 55 min
Bebe Rexha returns to the couch for one of her most vulnerable conversations yet. Having visited us countless times over the years, this interview skips the small talk and dives straight into the reality of rebuilding yourself after setbacks. As she enters a new independent chapter and prepares to release her new album 'Dirty Blonde,' Bebe opens up about faltering confidence, questioning her place in the industry, and the emotional toll of constantly hustling in a business that can be as discouraging as it is rewarding.

We also discuss why she says "old Bebe is dead," the summer heartbreak that inspired much of 'Dirty Blonde,' and the challenge of resisting comparison in an industry built on it. Along the way, Bebe shares stories behind hits like “Me, Myself & I,” “Hey Mama,” and “Meant to Be,” explains why some of her biggest songs for others (“The Monster”) were originally intended for herself, talks about working with Billy Ray Cyrus and Hit-Boy, and reflects on being a songwriter first, producer second, and artist always.
