The Road Trip To June Third
We have a special guest with us today-- Larissa from @eatinggilmore who is a content creator cooking her way through Gilmore Girls. She's made a dish and/or drink from every episode she's watched. She just finished season 6, which sparked an interesting conversation surrounding Partings and Luke and Lorelai's should be wedding date. We dive into what lead to the breakdown and what Larissa thinks of Luke's involvement and the two of them as a couple. If you want more episodes like this one, join us on Patreon for our spoiler FULL rewatch podcast, Gilmore Revisited!Where you lead, I will follow... us @gilmoretosaypodcastAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Gilmore To Read: Tia Williams
**spoiler chat for Seven Days In June starts around 33:45 and ends around 49:50, I also mention within the episode before we start! In this episode of Gilmore To Read, I am joined by the wonderful Tia Williams, the author of Reading Is Sexy's April pick Seven Days In June. Tia is a massive fan of Gilmore Girls, a pop culture junkie, and lets us know which scene from the show she thinks is one of the best scenes in television! She got inspiration for Seven Days In June from Baz Luhrmann's Romeo & Juliet, her fascination with old Hollywood and toxic mothers, and her own experience with chronic pain. I loved getting to know more about the woman behind the book and hope you do too! We'll be back later this month to talk Gilmore To Read's May picks. If you want to join our book clubs, find us on Fable! For the month of June, Where You Read, I Will Follow is reading Yellowface by RF Kuang and Reading Is Sexy is reading Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt.Follow us @gilmoretoread for book club updates and Gilmore bookish memes!Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Gilmore To Consider #25: Gilmore Man May Madness
This week, we only have one voicemail from a bestie asking us to put the Gilmore men into a bracket, March Madness style, and see who ends up on top. We aren't sure if you'll be shocked who comes out on top, but you might gasp the same way Tara does when a few key men get knocked out in the early rounds! As always, if you have more to say, give us a call 860-578-4653Join our book clubs on Fable! In May, Reading Is Sexy club is reading Funny Feelings by Tarah DeWitt and Where You Read I Will Follow club is reading Yellowface by RF Kuang.Where you read, I will follow... us @gilmoretosaypodcastAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

S'Wonderful, S'Sheila Lawrence
Tara and Haley are thrilled to welcome Sheila R. Lawrence, the first Gilmore Girls writer to join the pod, in this week's episode! Having been in the writers room from Season 2's "Hammers and Veils" through the Season 4 finale, "Raincoats and Recipes", Sheila dishes on her Gilmore journey, joining Amy and Dan after Gilmore on both "Bunheads" and "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", and the current state of the industry in the midst of the WGA writer's strike. But most importantly, Tara and Haley ask the burning question that's been on everyone's mind since 2003: Was Jess Mariano always meant to break Rory's heart and go to California with or without the spin-off? Stream now to hear her thoughts. If you want more episodes like this one, join us on Patreon for our spoiler FULL rewatch podcast, Gilmore Revisited!Where you lead, I will follow... us @gilmoretosaypodcastJoin our book clubs on Fable! Gilmore to Consider #24: Is Emily Gilmore A Bad Mom?
In honor of Mother's Day, Tara and Haley share their favorite mother/daughter Gilmore episodes while our listeners had more to say about the parenting on this show from our favorite fictional mothers. Was Emily Gilmore a good mom or just a good character? What's up with Lorelai's selective respect for Mrs. Kim's parenting tactics? And how much influence does Lorelai have over Rory's choices?Let us know what you think besties 860-578-4653Where you lead, I will follow...us @gilmoretosaypodcastIf you want more Gilmore to Say, join us on patreon for our spoilerFULL rewatch podcast, Gilmore Revisited.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Oy with the recap podcasts already! Your favorite Gilmore Girls TikTokers, Tara (@tarallew) and Haley (@gilmoregirlygirl), have been watching this show since before they were old enough to attend Chilton. Nearly two decades, multiple rewatches, and several cups of coffee later, their babbling capabilities are still infinite. Come hang out with them as they discuss the writing, the relationships, the parallels, and who is the father of that baby. This show stopped airing years ago, but Tara and Haley always have more to say.
