Mario's Minute

Just a couple of topics for this month's Mario's Minute episode, but here we discuss the theater as well as XBOX's latest creative announcement being XBOX LABS! We talk about the un-unreleased film Coyote vs. ACME hitting theaters and my experience with it. Additionally, with all of the craze surrounding decomplications and recompilations of games, a surprise announcement came out from Team XBOX in the form of XBOX LABS. I share my thoughts on XBOX LABS opening up, as well as my opinions on the current landscape of decomps and recomps we're seeing.

Old drives with sensitive data get poked at! A fan gets met in the wild! Switch 2 gets VRR in docked mode! OG Xbox games get officially emulated on PC and XBOX discs are frisbee shaped license activators now! Read all about it! Or, well, listen to it here on this month's episode of Mario's Minute! That's it for the description news blast. Enjoy a game store story at the end as well.

In a world full of scrolling, I'm stopping! Well, at least taking a day here and there to stop doing so. In this episode I talk about planned "Scroll Free Days" I've recently been exercising, and with that has come some pleasantly surprising health related bonuses tied to gaming! The thing that was destined to ruin our brains has been better to me than the information overload algorithm machines. Enjoy some chatter about anti-scrolling measures, more gaming, modding rants, and some new jailbreaking experiences! Please step over the DVDs on the floor, thank you.

You know? I'm going to be honest, I knew Sony already knew going in that announcing PlayStation disc production ending wouldn't go over well, but I don't think they expected people would STILL be talking about this in droves even a month later. So why not join back into the conversation? I've still got stuff to say, and new examples! You will own nothing and like it! Oh, also, while I've got you here... Would you happen to know where my friend's house is? My phone died.

In this episode of "You Will Own Nothing and Like It" I discuss my thoughts around the Kingdom Hearts games releasing natively on Switch 2! Oh, but what about those Cloud Versions of Kingdom Hearts that released on Switch? Gone, gone, just gone, but the paid testers get 50% off the Switch 2 releases! I also discuss the observations I've seen with more people going physical with the Switch 2 and why that might be. Keep listening for a game store story and more!
