Su KIDS Radio Show

On Sept. 19, 1981, the K.I.D.S Radio Show premiered on KSPI FM radio station broadcasting out of Stillwater, Oklahoma. The radio sitcom/musical expertly blended clever, kid-friendly comedic stories with children’s genre song selections. The weekly radio show was the brainchild of Carolyn Meyer, a Stillwater Public Schools music specialist and Kel Pickens, an account rep for the radio station. Carolyn and Kel are releasing select episodes from the 1980s and 1990s in podcast form on Saturday mornings at 11 a.m., like the original radio show time.
