  • Episode 21 - Tim Webber: Live from FMX 2023
The Framestore Podcast, our learning and talent development focused podcast made by Framestore, for Framestore, is back this week with another fantastic new episode. Every two-weeks we invite a special guest to take on the 'Framestore Podcast Dailies', set questions designed to find out what inspires them, their work at our studio and career journey so far, plus all manner of tips, tricks and advice. On this week's episode we break the tradition of our 'two-parter' format, with a stand alone episode we recorded 'live' from this year's FMX conference in Stuttgart, Germany. This week's special guest is Tim Webber, Chief Creative Officer and award-winning Visual Effects Supervisor.  With over 35 years in our industry, Tim has worked on some of the most iconic and visually stunning films of our time, including Gravity, Avatar and The Dark Knight. With an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for his work on Gravity, Tim is known for his innovative approach to visual effects, which has helped to push the boundaries of what is possible on screen. In his latest project, ‘Flite’, Tim continues to change the game of digital storytelling by creating a visually stunning and emotionally compelling movie that takes us on a journey through the skies. The film establishes FUSE (Framestore Unreal Shot Engine), a new VFX pipeline using Unreal Engine.
