There has been a lot going on this season of Below Deck Mediterranean regarding the former bosun Nathan Gallagher and what is unraveling in real time for his legal partner Gael Cameron. While being in an active storyline on television with new episodes coming out weekly, Nathan Gallagher is dodging international arrest warrants for his domestic violence offenses. Angela discusses maritime issues, mechanics of a plea in absentia, and some very famous cases of people trying to use yachts to escape paying taxes, felony charges, and international crimes, including Scientologist founder L. Ron Hubbard and former White House Chief Strategist, Steve Bannon. Despite Nathan Gallagher’s criminal offenses taking place before filming Season 11 of Below Deck, Angela shares why she doesn’t think it’s production’s fault for missing this information in his background check. But since this information has come to light, Bravo has terminated Nathan, and Angela explains why it’s only a matter of time before he is caught.
