Between Sets

Two-time Olympic bronze medalist and one of the best liberos in the world, Erik Shoji, hops on the Between Sets Podcast with Samson Olsen, Jakob Thelle and Eivind Hettervik! Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai’i, Erik went from Stanford to a long pro career across Germany, Austria, Russia, Italy, Poland and more, and he’s currently playing for Berlin Recycling Volleys in Germany. After all those years at the very top, the boys had to ask: what actually makes Erik Shoji nervous?

Today our fellow Team Norway teammate, Rune Fasteland, hopped on the pod. He's currently playing for Hokkaido Yellow Stars in Sapporo in Japan. He's also, arguably, the best goofy-footed volleyball player in the whole world. This podcast is indeed in English, even though we're all Norwegians!

Between Sets Podcast - Samson Olsen, Eivind Hettervik, and Jakob Thelle. Gage Worsley is a 6 year pro volleyball player, currently playing with Arago de Sète in France. He's former teammates with Jakob at the University of Hawai'i Men's Volleyball program. In addition, most people know him from Out of System on social media and the largest volleyball podcast on earth; If You Can't Handle The Heat.

Welcome back to the Between Sets Podcast with your boys, Samson Olsen, Jakob Thelle and Eivind Hettervik. Today the boys chat about their first weeks of a new professional volleyball season in Europe. They discuss who will win the CEV Champions League and recap podcast #2 with Micah Christenson.

Easily one of the best setters in the world (or the best?), Micah Christenson, hops on the pod with the boys to talk about his current life in Verona, transitioning from college to pro, going from Russia to Italy, and also explains what his superpower in volleyball is !
