A deadly Pennsylvania house fire is being investigated as arson after police say Robert Zimmerman allegedly set the home ablaze following a woman’s rejection. In another disturbing case, prosecutors say Brian Lanzim drove from Maine to New Jersey armed with guns and body armor after threatening his ex-girlfriend’s family, in what authorities believe may have been a planned family annihilation. And, in Washington, a woman was stabbed 48 times in what prosecutors now believe was staged to look like a home invasion.

In November 2025, 18-year-old Anna Kepner boarded a family cruise expecting sunshine, memories, and a relaxing vacation at sea. Instead, the trip ended in horror when Anna was found dead inside the room she shared with her stepbrother and younger half-brother while the ship sailed through international waters. Her father says he was the one who found her, pulling her body from underneath the bed before realizing his daughter was gone. In Shreveport, Louisiana, Shamar Elkins allegedly shot his girlfriend, killed eight children including seven of his own, and then fled. Tanner Horner has now been sentenced to death for the killing of Athena Strand. In Alice Springs, a 5-year-old girl known as Kumanjayi Little Baby went missing and was found dead five days later…
