  • 66: Time For Questions Five - Live!
NonCensored is  a weekly round up of Harriet Langley-Swindon's very popular, very real daily radio show, completely non-Censored (but with all of the rubbish edited out). This week we're playing you a Time For Questions episode we recorded two weeks ago, when Harriet and Producer Martin were LIVE at the 2023 London Podcast Festival at King's Place. They were joined by a brilliant panel - there was Sir Keir Starmer, Suella Braverman, and the Reverend Gerry Berrie, from the Very Very Christian Church of England. They took questions on asylum seekers, proud boys, and working-class children, and why all food should be biege. Tickets to see us live! Again! We are recording another live episode at the Museum of Comedy in London on Wednesday the 18th October. Tickets are £10.50 and can be bought at https://museumofcomedy.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/873639212. We are delighted to be able to announce that both Nadine Dorries and Jordan Petersen will be joining us, and Eshaan Akbar will be back from suspension. If you have a question for Nadine, Jordan or Eshaan then send them in to [email protected]. Even if we don't use them in the live show, we might use them for a future Time For Questions episode. Thanks to Rosie Holt (@RosieIsAHolt), Brendan Murphy (@notmurphy), Athena Kugblenu (@athenakugblenu), Joz Norris (@JozNorris), Bilal Zafar (@Zafarcakes) and Ed Morrish. Tickets for Rosie's show, That's Politainment!, are available here. Tickets for Brendan's show, Buffy Revamped, are available here. You can hear Athena's podcast, Keeping Athena Company, here. Ticket's to Joz's next show, Joz Norris Is Your Private Dancer (A Dancer For Money), are available here: You can listen to Bilal's podcast, Got A Problem, Mate?, here. • 65: Can The Poor Hear Us?
NonCensored is  a weekly round up of Harriet Langley-Swindon's very popular, very real daily radio show, completely non-Censored (but with all of the rubbish edited out). This week Harriet and Producer Martin are joined by Hector Bridges from the campaign group Reclaim Culture UK, to talk about his distressing experience at the Last Night of the Proms, where he was brutally attacked by seeing some European flags being waved. We also speak to Dr Peter Hilton, whose letter to the Times about how women in medicine should just "get over" any sexual harassment caused quite the stir on social media; he debates the issue with opinion columnist Caroline Voxman and proves that he's not just a pretty face! And finally we hear from Australian businessman Tim Gurner, who apologises for his comments about how more people need to lose their jobs and also explains why he's right about more people needing to lose their jobs. Tickets to see us live! We are recording another live episode at the Museum of Comedy in London on Wednesday the 18th October. Tickets are £10.50 and can be bought at https://museumofcomedy.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/873639212. This week Harriet and Producer Martin were LIVE at the 2023 London Podcast Festival at King's Place, and they were joined by a brilliant panel - there was Sir Keir Starmer, who talked us through his recent reshuffle; Home Secretary Suella Braverman, who explained why she was going to lock up lawyers who sneak human rights to immigrants; and we were joined once again by the Reverend Gerry Berrie, from the Very Very Christian Church of England, who offered some Christian moral perspective and also advocated for the death penalty. Tickets to see us live! Again! We are recording another live episode at the Museum of Comedy in London on Wednesday the 18th October. Also, in Eshaan Akbar's absence, we hear Producer Martin's Mild & Creamy Takeaway of the Week, about why maybe national service is more complicated than some people might think. • 62: The Brown Supremacy
NonCensored is  a weekly round up of Harriet Langley-Swindon's very popular, very real daily radio show, completely non-Censored (but with all of the rubbish edited out). Harriet and Producer Martin are still at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, but this week they are rejoined by Eshaan Akbar - and after a few weeks off, we couldn't resist playing you clips of all his appearances on the daily radio show - which, as you all know, is a real thing - from the last week. First up, we get his "Hot & Spicy" take on the obvious winner of the Republican Presidential primary debate, and why he will take over the world; then, it's time for Is It Woke?, out long-running segment that obviously has a lot of admirers at the Daily Mail - cough "WokeWatch" cough - as Harriet asks, "Comedy awards - are they woke?"; and finally, there was time for an ApologyWatch, where Eshaan, Martin and Harriet discussed the apology issued by the head of the Spanish FA for kissing one of the players, and find a reasonable solution to the whole thing. Tickets to see us live! We are recording a live episode at King's Place as part of the London Podcast Festival on Thursday the 7th September at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12.50 and can be bought at https://www.kingsplace.co.uk/whats-on/london-podcast-festival/. We are delighted to be able to announce that both Suella Braverman and Sir Keir Starmer will be joining us, as will the Reverend Gerry Berrie, from the Very Free Church of England, whose views on modern morality always get the wokies in a tizzy! If you have a question for the live show Suella, Keir or Gerry - or Harriet or Martin  - then send them in to [email protected] and we'll give our two favourite questions two free tickets each to the live show on the 7th. This decision will be made on Wednesday 30th September, so get your questions in before then.    Thanks to Rosie Holt (@RosieIsAHolt), Brendan Murphy (@notmurphy), Eshaan Akbar (@eshaanakbar) and Ed Morrish. Tickets for Rosie's show, That's Politainment!, are available here. Tickets for Brendan's show, Buffy Revamped, are available here. Eshaan's other podcast, Shame Is Delicious, can be heard here. Show photography by Karla Gowlett (photoperspective.co.uk) and show design by Chris Barker (chrisbarkerprints.co.uk). Music and jingles by Paddy Gervers & Rob Sell (torchandcompass.com).
