Tula Tenker Høyt - Learn Norwegian

In this episode, I give you a run down of some geography terms and names of parts of the country. Then we think out loud about a variety of differences I have encountered between the north and south of Norway, in three main categories: climate, culture and outdoor life.
I hope you learn something new, I certainly find this topic very interesting. It is wild how there can be such a difference between the people and nature within the same country. Sit back with a cup of coffee and a notebook to jot down all the facts, and get ready to think out loud with me.

In this week's episode, I think out loud about my hobbies and interests with you, in the hopes that it will help you learn how you can talk about your hobbies. I also share how you can ask someone what their hobbies and interests are, and list a variety of other interests that you might have, so that you can learn how to say them in Norwegian. In this episode I talk about a few reasons why it is better to pace yourself rather than trying to cram and learn as much as possible as quickly as possible. It is tempting, especially at the start of learning a language, when motivation is high, to ambitiously decide to study a lot every day, hours on end, quickly finish one topic and move on to the next. But it is in fact better to go slow, spend some more time, and truly get the feel of the language.
