Art school daredevil and post-punk legend Gina Birch, co-founder of The Raincoats, takes the limelight with her first-ever solo album. One of our favorites on the record is “I Play My Bass Loud,” a piece that distills Birch’s years of musical, political, and artistic life into a title track banger.
